So what Real difference does “the healing” make?
What’s all the fuss about Grace?
What makes Grace different from religion?
“Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.” – Romans 5:18-19
As long as you have law, you will have condemnation. As long as you have condemnation, you will have pride, arrogance, deceit and basically all the bad stuff no one likes to be around.
The law is good, we are not! Yes it really is that simple but also remember the law is a measuring stick and like all measuring sticks it creates winners and losers and separations between all those measured by it. In short the law causes the focus to be on the distance and Not the unity – this is why religion is so disdained by many people but the devil has them thinking it’s another reason.
But just for grins let’s look at the verse just before this one shall we:
“For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!” – Romans 5:17
Want to “reign in life”? Follow Jesus and Not religion!
Follow Jesus for the simple fact that “it is finished”, you are Righteous the moment you believe and your position to the law is in simple terms “not under” it because you choose Grace!
Following Jesus simplifies Everything in this way, “love others as I have loved you and this fulfills All the law and the prophets.” Following Jesus gives you “an easy burden and a light yoke” so He can “give you rest.”
Following Jesus is Not a religion but an on-growing relationship of learning love from the Greatest Lover of All people and of All time. Following Jesus is following The One Who Loves you as you Are, Not as you should be and Only ask you to believe in His name and have Faith that He is Good-Er than you could ever imagine!
